Description
Touch ABC Montessori game by Headu creates phonemic consciousness which develops using the puzzle pieces of the frosted letters and the sounds are associated with the corresponding graphic symbols, which can be traced with the fingers, involving touch, sight and hearing. In fact, children learn the principles of alphabetic writing in a multi-sensorial way, as suggested in Maria Montessori’s method. Start by presenting the three-word puzzle pieces by reading aloud the names of the objects exaggerating the pronunciation of the sound of the initial letter: Aaapple; Bbbanana; Fffairy. Then show children that the initial sound of the word corresponds to a letter,which we can trace with our finger, simultaneously repeating the pronunciation of the word aloud. Then repeat the exercise with another group of three letters and, gradually, present the whole alphabet.
