Every spring, the pretenders to the throne each recruit 4 champions and compete in duels with unusual rules… No army to lead, no blood to shed: the first to capture his rival wins. Your time has come… Tactics, daring and strategy will distinguish the true Leaders!. Assemble a team of unique characters to defeat the opposing Leader! To do so, capture him by bringing 2 of your Characters alongside him, or maneuver skilfully so that he finds himself completely surrounded!. The game turn in Leaders consists of two phases: the Action phase and the Recruitment phase. During the Action phase, the active player chooses for each Character to move to an adjacent square or to use an active skill!. During the Recruitment phase, the player chooses a Character from the 3 available and adds him/her to his/her side of the board (until he/she has a team of 5 Characters). The heart of Leaders is to combine the unique skills of your Characters to build a plan for victory, while reacting and countering your opponent’s moves on the board.
• Leaders features an intense head-to-head duel offering a pure, zero-sum tactical battle.
• With its simple movement rules and focus on strategy, it’s perfect to enjoy a deeper tactical challenge.
• You’ll draft a small team of 5 unique Characters during the game, each with their own wooden base and Character card.
